UConn Huskies 1/12/09: Foreman Named to 2009 United States Maccabiah Open Track and Field Team. University of Connecticut women’s track and field senior Jessi Foreman has been chosen to the 2009 United State Maccabiah Open Track and Field team as announced Monday by the USA 18th Maccabiah Organizing Committee. The Maccabiah Games are the central sporting event of World Jewry as Foreman will join many of the best Jewish athletes in the United State on Team USA. That chosen team will compete at the 18th World Maccabiah Games in Isreal with the best Jewish athletes from 60 countries.
