Tuesday, May 26, “There is a Bridge”, Wayland Library, 5-7pm.

Beacon Hospice of Framingham will screen the film “There is a Bridge” in the library’s Raytheon Room from 5-7 p.m. This ground-breaking documentary reveals the largely unrecognized capacity of people with Alzheimer’s and related dementias to maintain emotionally meaningful relationships. The film includes interviews with preeminent thinkers and poignant footage of family members, care partners, and schoolchildren building emotionally rich relationships with people with dementia, revealing depths of memory and personal identity not erased by the disease of Alzheimer’s.
