AFTERNOON TEA AND SLIDE LECTURE: Palace of Versailles:
Kings, Queens and Mistresses! Derek Mann, former
Cruise Director Cunard Lines, first visited the Palace of
Versailles in 1958. His worldwide cruising took him to many
countries and he visited many palaces. Not one of the
palaces could rival the size and unique social history of
Versailles. Three kings enjoyed a life of luxury beyond
imagination with their Queens and many mistresses. Derek
reveals how they lived, loved and died in this great
monument to man's creative building genius. Don't miss this
fascinating presentation. $5.00 per person includes
coffee/tea, sampler plate of finger sandwiches and desserts.
For reservations call the Senior Center at 508 358 2990. TAI CHI: Tai Chi classes are held on Wednesday mornings in the Hearing Room at the Wayland Town Building from 10:30-11:30am.
